Job Description
Luqra is looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Coordinator – Social Media & Engagement to manage and grow our social media presence through engaging content and strategic community interaction. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fintech, digital marketing, and storytelling through social media. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating, curating, and posting content—including short-form videos and graphics—across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a social media content calendar aligned with Luqra’s marketing objectives.
- Create high-quality short-form video content (e.g., Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn videos) to engage and educate audiences.
- Design eye-catching graphics, infographics, and animations to support social media campaigns.
- Write compelling, on-brand captions and copy that drive engagement and brand consistency.
- Manage and grow Luqra’s presence across platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Monitor social trends, fintech industry news, and competitor activity to inform content strategy.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a strong online community.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and optimize content based on insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Experiment with new content formats and engagement strategies to increase reach and conversions.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong skills in video creation, editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva), and graphic design (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and LinkedIn.
- Experience growing and managing social media accounts, preferably in fintech, B2B, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing social media metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple social channels and projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field is a plus.
